is there some issues with the new server? posting was not possible for the last 20 minutes or so, and often times is sluggish and requires relogging in.

Really? I haven't noticed any problems. The server log seems fine. Maybe it was on your end?

I had thought so, but last night when I was unable to post, so was anyone else, I dont think that anyone else was just not posting, because there were some active threads but no posting by anyone.
side note: it also prompted me for user and password even though I am suppose to stay logged in when returning. its done that a few times in the past couple days.

Ya kknow tillithz I had the same problem you're describing on another forum I'm on. I wound up deleting all the cookies for that site and it finally started behaving itself.
