In your opinions is the avic-u220 a good product? Is the music off when in navigation mode? I am aware of the bypass issue and the fixes posted will work for me. But I need to know if my iPhone gps app which I don't really like will still be needed.

the 220 is nice. you can still listen to music while in Nav mode. my phone gps sucks and takes a long time to connect, so its nice to push a button and have a map. Some cons are that you cant enter in a destination if your driving more then 10mph. its controlled by an accelerometer, so there's no way to bypass.
