I have a F90BT installed in my 2000 Audi A6. It works fine except when I have my iPod plugged in using the cable the sound cuts in and out at random. The sound will stop coming out of the passenger side speakers then cut back on. The weird thing is that it only happens on the iPod input, CD and Media Card work fine, audio is consistent. Any ideas? RCA outputs? iPod cable?

do you have original apple or pioneer ipod cable, or aftermarket/ebay cable?

If you have checekd your a/v harness and connections on the back, then it may be a loose wire inside of the ipod dock connector. I hear this is common on non- pioneer/apple cables...

I bought the entire system used so I'm not sure on the manufacturer of the cable. I will get a pioneer or apple cable and check all my connections

I have the same problem with my F900BT. The audio will either decrease and have static noise along with it or it will cut out completely... ultimately I found out it was the RCA connectors, I would have to take the center console off of my 2008 Scion Tc and readjust the RCA connectors. Usually it is good for about 4 - 6 months before it does it again. And I have all original out of the box equipment. Hope this helps.
