Here's my problem today i plugged in my Iphone to charge and my radio rebooted itself. It gets to the menu screen and gets stuck there.The system starting message stays up on the screen. I can go to radio and listen to it but it will reboot again after a few minutes. Only thing I've done to the unit is bypass the parking brake and menu to use all the functions without being stopped. I've seen a lot of posts about service mode and a 3.01 firmware but have yet to find the files to get there and how to do it. Is this a firmware issue or hardware problem and is there a way to tell? Help please i don't have the cash to drop on a new unit. Oh and I have the 2.008 firmware

Fixed it installed new firmware.

I'm having this same issue. I'm trying to update it to the 2.008 firmware but it wont even let me in to start a firmware up date. Did the 3.01 firmware update work?
