Ok guys so im having the same problem with my Avic F900BT where it continously restarts. I read many posts about downloading test files and then uploading them into a sd card to the unit but the links to Megaupload are broken to the fact that the site has been shut down by the United States Govt.

My question is does anyone have the latest test mode files they can send me or direct me to a thread where the problem can be fixed? Im getting pretty annoyed that I cant enjoy my unit without shutting off on me.

also is test mode and service mode the same thing? I have been hearing both and am not sure if its 2 diff things.

And in test mode it should let you delete gpspara0.bin, gpspara1.bin, gpspara2.bin and gpspara3.bin right? or is there another way to do it

Oh and I forgot to mention this is for USA unit. I dont know if that makes a difference from diff countries

Hi there, i have the same problem finding the right test mode files... can enyone help me? my f700 bt is tucked in 'system startup in progress....' and im trying to find the right way to sove the problem, i live in the netherlands so i need the EU frimware i think... thanx al lot

So just take these test mode files and put them on an sd card and put them in my radio?

any luck with these files working? i have a x910bt with the same problem and have been searching every where for test files that work
