i have a f700bt and it would stay on the startup screen then reboot i ordered the 30 dollar fix from ebay and after i did the procedure my unit displays the pioneer start up screen then goes black does anyone have any suggestions?

can you boot into testmode from an sdcard?

if so, you probably just need to reinstall the sw on my flash disk. you could follow the instructions in one of the various threads (fx 3.1, etc)
