Anyone using an extension cable with their appradio that actually works? I bought one from ebay and although its advertised as having charging and syncing capabilities it only sort of works with the appradio. I can only launch apps from within the iphone.

Only thing I found was one of those 30-pin hard extensions, it about a 1/4" long. It allows me to keep my case on my phone

thanks for the reply..but I need at least a 24" extension as I want to hide the humongous cable inside my dash. I wonder if this one will work:

Same thing happened to me. i attached an apple dock to keep my phone in my coin tray and the sound didn't work. tried one of those cheap ebay ones - no video. one thing left is this http://www.appradiow...adio-cable.html

saw that too...but there's one guy having problems with it also. I guess i'll just have to purchase it to find out.

I have the CableJive DockXtender cable - works perfectly - both audio and video signals pass through the cable. More expensive than eBay items but this one works. Most other cables either only supply power or at best power and audio.

The first cable I purchased had an issue not passing video but CableJive were very responsive and quickly sent another cable to UK which worked as expected. Recommend. +1

I had the same issue with a cable off eBay. The cablejive cable worked perfectly and seems to be the best option.
