When i do get bars, the arrow shows us going backwards. Id like to get it working right.

We just took a little trip and my gps not doing to good. We got to our turn and gps wanted us to keep straight into the ocean and it kept freezing and it pissed me off and ready to get rid of it unless i can figure out whats going on and how to fix it.

There's obviously an issue with the antenna, where it's mounted, or both.

You think that has something to do with it? I had a few bars for the signal until we got to the beach and had noneIs VSS connected?

VSS takes over when there is no or poor signal, so yes.

If it dosnt work after i find and hook up the vss wire, i guess i'll buy another antenna for it cuz its not the antenna that comes with the d3, its an ebay one.
