As soon as I enter app mode, i get loud static. Exit app mode, static goes away.

Checked all connection, good ground and all.

Fm Am works good, tried 3 different firmwares 2.22 2.45 and 2.46 and same problem.

Also, since last firmware update, my clock is all messed up.

And I no longer have the icon with the toolbox where you can turn on ct.

I tryed my wife's iPhone and same thing.

Solved!!

The interface cable went bad from being in cup holder for so long and then choosing to bend it the other way on the passenger seat for better gps reception.

Can I buy a replacement for it?

i thinks is'nt possible to buy sepparetly but contact pioneer maybe it is possible to negociate with... try this but i dont confirm you pioneer is ok for this.
