All

Just had a quick question to see what the ballpark for installation would be for a Z1 with Bluetooth, Nav Traffic and Rear View Camera. Any suggestions as well for installers here in Colorado would be appreciated

Thanks

approximately 250-300$. You would save a bundle installing it yourself. Its not hard to do and you have a huge community of support right here.

Well, the install price can vary quite a bit, depending on the vehicle. Whatcha got?

I am looking at getting an 07 Tahoe or 07 Expedition. Looking at all options right now, maybe even an H2 or a 4 Runner, crazy crazy but yes definitely want an AVIC. Is it better to have the factory nav installed (for wiring etc) then strip it out and sell and replace or does it matter ? There is not a lot of info on the 07 Expedition regarding installs etc

No, get a car with no factory nav. This way it will be easier to put in your aftermarket navigation into the dash. Having a Factory navigation will only make it more complicated to take the dash apart

Really ? Even though with the factory the dash mount pieces are there to hold the full screen instead of the standard radio ? Does this hold true for rear entertainment as well ro is it better to have tose installed and removed ?

It doesn't really matter, as far as dash disassembly goes, but the wiring may be a different story, since the nav package usually comes with the upgraded sound system, with a factory amplifier, additional speakers, etc. Although the new Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge vehicles are rather difficult to put a Z1 or D1/2 into if you do not have the factory nav dash bezel.
