New to this site and saw some cool things that can be done with the F900Bt. First off, what is the newest update for this unit? also, when installing I'm pretty sure the usb cable got pulled to hard or something and is loose and wont work. It never worked before with my Iphone but I could plug a usb drive in there. Any help would be appreciated. I just want to get it all up to date... (maps and firmware)
There is a link to updated Firmware for your unit at http://www.pioneer.eu/uk/support/software/AVIC-F700BT/index.html I am not sure if it works on North American Avic F900BT's. Grab the Testmode.zip file and follow the instructions on backing up your system before embarking on any updates.

where you just trying to use a normal USB sync cable? if so there is your problem, RTFMIt never worked before with my Iphone but I could plug a usb drive in here.
