Looking for help here. I had the z130 installed in my truck, watched the video to bypass on youtube. The harness they use (and everyone) is the white harness attached to the stereo. For whatever reason, my stereo is hooked up and only using the lower black harness. Do i need to redo the install with the white harness, or is there another bypass available using the black harness. And does anyone know why the would do this different than most....
The bypass requires the RCA pre out harness so it looks like however installed your unit didn't include that harness. Go back to them and tell them it came with the unit so you want it back.
Thank you sir! Once I get the RCA harness, will I have to hook the stereo back up with that harness, or just use the RCA harness for the PB bypass?
You will use one wire from that harness which is the mute wire. But yes, the RCA harness will need to be plugged into the unit for the bypass to work.
