Doesnt matter if Im driving or parked, the unit will reboot itself. If playing radio, it will stop for a second, but immediately resume while the unit continues booting up. Every time it does this it will forget its maps and custom screens (background and load up). The problem seems to have gotten worse as it seems to do this every 30 minutes or so.
So far the only things connect to it are:
- ipod
- bluetooth
- gps antenna
- rearview camera
- 2 front component speakers
- 2 rear speakers
- a/v in (just wires, no device)
I had noticed that for a while my bluetooth wouldnt connect like it normally would. And then if I streamed audio via bluetooth and at the same time messed with the unit, it would occassionally lock up until it rebooted itself. Bluetooth now works fine. Not sure why I was having connectivity issues, but even when I dont even have my phone with me, and just play normal radio (not using an audio CD or navi screen) it will still reboot and forget. Last time this occured, it occured while parked and running for 30 minutes, yet rebooted twice.
