I bought a refurb. D1 and I went to put in the disc that came with it which is the 1.2 version. The screen pops up with the " This is not the appropriate disc crap" Its driving me nuts, is there anything that I can do?

is it a backup?

did u put it into the right drive?

The disc is brand new, and yes I put it into the apprpriate drive. I read someplace about somebody downgrading software to make it work?

it shouldnt need to downgrade the software, thats the idea isnt it? that really wouldnt be a solution if i was you.

I have not idea at this point , Im still wet behind the ears on the AVIC stuff. I know that in a previous post somebody had a similar problem and they fixed it with a software downgrade.
