I have the avh p6800 and want to buy the avic 88DVD to add the nav functions. I have been told that this possible but would love some feedback on this. Also, if this will work, can I then add the gex-p10xmt XM nav-traffic satellite tuner and get the traffic updates/trip rerouting functions on my 6800?

Well you only have to post this once. As far as the nav traffic I don't beleive that works with the 6800 since it lacks the data port that the nav traffic info is transferred on.

sorry! I realized after my other post that no one had posted on that question in a week or two so I thought I should post my own thread. So the 6800 and the avic 88 will work, right? Is the 88 the most current model available?

Yes, they will work. The 88 is the newest but still a couple years old. You will not get traffic updates through it though
