hey guys, im getting conflicting information, will my current CD-IU51V cable work for the 8400 or do i have to buy the cd-iu201S?
I looked at SonicElectronics and it says they sell the CD-IU51V cable as an accessory for the 8400.
I would follow the link below. Hit the accessories tab. So much for the 940 I guess.
You can use either cable, but if you want to use the "Advanced App Mode" you will need the cd-iu201s
yeah if you want to get all the cool bells and whistles you need to get the $80 cable to tap into the navi portal of the 8400
Is there a cable for Android?
You would not need a special cable for Android since they use usb micro cables. A bigger issue is the lack of an App Mode for Android.
With an Android phone you can Stream audio using bluetooth and use all the phone controls. Actually the phone works great.
