I need a full backup of my F500BT; the unit is currently bricked, and the backup set that I had was deleted from my sd card. I've searched the site and google to try to find a backup, but thus far to no avail. Thanks for your help..

just download fw 3.1 via torrent. Delete sys.txt from apl2 and rename sys_749_uc which is us f500, if europe sys_749_ew to sys.txt and flash it away.
