Hey guys, I am new to the forum. I am looking to get a head unit from the avic series. But the choices and prices range from cheap to hell no for me. I am reaching out to you guys, the experienced and well informed to guide me.

What I need on a scale of One through Five:

1 - Could Do Without

5 - Must Have

GPS - 5

iPod Integration - 4

Price - 3

My range is less than $500 (as cheap but good as possible) right now so I certainly do not mind going with past models as long as the UI and especially the GPS is not too archaic.

Whatever models have lane guidance would certainly be cool as my current GPS does a very good job of telling me which exit to get off of (TomTom iPhone App).

I am currently looking at the F90BT. The GPS seems to be quite decent, but the only issues I have seen thus far is speed. Takes upwards of twenty seconds to startup. Again I have read that there are ways to speed up the process.

Any help or input you guys can give will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
