Using GPS while in a tunnel

I live in Boston and when leaving the city most of the time it requires to go into tunnels. I recently installed a z130bt in my 03 Maxima. My question is is there a way to get the route guidance to continue while in the tunnel? In some tunnel the guidance doesn't stop but in others it gets stuck on the last turn before entering the tunnel.

Connect the VSS wire.

Is that the pink wire? I had it professionally installed. That won't effect the bypass?

Your correct the VSS is the pink wire. Connecting it has no impact on the bypass

To verify if it's connected

select - Settings

select - Navi Settings

select - Connection Status

You'll get a screen that looks like this

Drive and you should see the speed signal vary and as well when you select reverse the backup signal should change from low to high.

If that doesn't happen the VSS and backup wires are not connected properly.
