I just got a new AVIC N3 and the Joystick seems too loose. It seems like it might move around when driving, especially over bumps. Is it normal for it to be this loose?

Funny you mention it as I just installed my new N2 today and first thing I noticed was the loose joystick. It still however works perfectly fine and doesnt seem to move around when I drive. I just didnt notice this when I had my old N1. Im not gonna worry about it.

thats really funny because my N3 came in yesterday and that was the FIRST thing i noticed... we'll see what happens, but its not just your machine...

well my d1 joystick broke off when i got unit in the mail

I have the same problem. Everytime I hit a bump the damn menu screen pops up. So mean while, I just stuck a small piece of a toothpick in their. Works!!!!
