I'm new to the group and have been looking at various posts for some time now and have what is probably a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. Do the terms Z1, Z2 &Z3 stand for the Z110, Z120 and Z130 HU? Hope that no offense is taken at my lack of understanding. This is a great forum.

I was right-stupid question. I searched around some more and found that the answer is no.

I used to have a Z1 for a few years with updated software and firmware of Z3 and was super happy with it but sold my pickup truck and lost my Z1 with it (since they paid extraa for it) a few weeks ago after buying a brand new pickup, I wanted the brand new Avic unit and this is the Avic Z140bh. I was so excited when they were installing it! Turns out it SUCKS and doesn't compare anything to the Z1. No wonder the new unit cost me $1000 compared to my other one (z1) which was $2200.

So heads up, the latest models aren't as good as the older ones!
