Hello, as the title says, I want to remove the Pioneer logo from the top frame of my Z1 (above the screen). Has anyone done this yet? I think that I will have a slightly more factory appearance without the Pioneer logo.

Previous experience with pioneer headunits, your better off finding paint that matches the color and painting over the logo.

Not a bad idea . . . any suggestions on what kind of paint?

automotive touch up paint should work fine for you. The hard part is going to be geting a color match.

Can't you rub it off?

Not without it looking like crap.

I think a brillo pad and some liquid LavaSoap would get that logo off!

Wow, I hope you are not serious because that would cause fine scratches.

I think that's why there was a smily at the end of his statement.

I'm going to just remove the frame and paint the entire thing. I want to put a small high quality decal on there that says Mercedes-Benz (where it used to say Pioneer). Any suggestions on where I could have one made?

thats a very nice idea. I wish I knew of a place that would. of the few places I know that do custom decals, they wont do copyrighted work unless you can prove you are allowed too :(

I used a black sharpie to color the entire face of my first dvd burner two years ago from its ugly beige to match my PC tower lol came out pretty nice too!
