So i recently got around to installing a used f90bt. When i start the unit up it seems to start fine. And that's about where it ends. After that i cant go into any other screen except for the system settings. It also tells me that i have no maps. I've tried searching and reading through countless threads with still no answer. If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

So what screen does it load to or do you have to hit the button? Did you buy the unit knowing it did not work?

It loads to what i believe is the boot screen which says pioneer on it. I then have to push the menu button. I bought the unit under the assumption it worked. the previous owner said he had no problems with it and was only taking it out to trade the car in.

I'd be pissed... Files are corrupt... Under settings when you go to system info what version is it running? Not maps?

Go grab my torrent from my thread torrent file full of Avic F. Download the torrent using a PtoP sharer. Get an SD card freshly formatted. On the root folder put the folder from inside testmode2.3 labeled "test mode" then put the file from "backups of avic (or something of the sort) titled avic f700 2.0 files. Go into test mode (windows mode find the SD card files of the back up. Clik edit select all edit copy. Then go to where it says My Flash Disk (the Avics flash drive not your SD card) double click in then edit paste ignore the filled screen. Yes to all if asks to replace files. Wait. Once it finishes after about 20 mins. Eject SD card shut down car and restart it. See how that goes

I was able to fix the problem following the help given here. tail24 your help is greatly appreciated.
