hey guys, i just installed my f700bt today and im experiencing two problems.

1. when i am playing songs on my ipod, as soon as it changes to another song, you hear a static-like noise. but it is fine for the rest of the song. I think my ipod cable is a oem pioneer cable.

2. I have my rear view hooked up and my reverse gear wire spliced to my reverse lights. but it does not automatically change to the rear view when i put the car in reverse. the camera works great when i manually chose to show the rear view camera.

anyone have any solutions to these two problems? thanks!

1. Sounds like cabling.

2. Have you waited for system to finish start up and go to music or maps screen? Did you test your reverse wire? Are you using the avid wiring reverse wire?

1. for cabling which cable do you think is bad? the ipod cable?

2. Yes, everything is loaded before i tried it. I extended the reverse gear wire from the wire harness and ran it to the rear of the car to the reverse lights

I would assume you arent getting correct reverse wire.

go on a forum for your car and see how others have tapped into for reverse cams
