Can you create specific routes with a avic z140. I go a specfic route and i want to map that right. The gps wants me to go another way.

No. And why do you need this if you already know what route to take?

I don't have a Z140, but with the Z130 you could set waypoints to customize the route somewhat. On a long trip, I'll set a few waypoints to force that general route. I then let the HU handle the details. I'm not sure it the Z140 (with new NAV software) does this.

Because i dont know it by heart. And the lane guidace is great. They way it takes you there is always tons of traffic.

For long trips it's nice to know at about what time you will arrive. I force the nav to go a specific way with waypoints and it helps me estemate my actual time of arrival.
