Anyone has tried the 4.14 update yet? I wonder if it works with the DA01 unit? (last year's)? As it does not seem to have much difference with the DA02 unit. If not, anyone who has tried the new 2.56 update, what do you think? What is improved? Do we finally have a clock displayed in the other screens like the radio? This lack of a clock/time is driving me nuts. Thanks

The only thing that the update brings to the da-02 is stuff that we already got in a software update. It gives them Bluetooth icons in the main screen and the radio. We already got that with 2.50. What I do know is that you should leave it be. The da-02 probably uses different internal hardware. It's pretty standard practice. Like how the new iPad 2 has a smaller die SOC than the launch iPad 2. So download the one for the radio you have.

The 01 and 02 certainly have different hardware. The 01 is actually made by Dual.

Thanks for the updates, so no upgraded radio interface? i.e. a clock display for the radio scree?
