Is it possible to power a backup camera with the car's reverse tail light power? Or do I have to supply a separate source of power?

You can but you will not get rear view.

Thanks for the quick response. I hardly use rear view. Will it trip any sensors, ie. canbus and etc? It's going in a 2006 Porsche Cayman.
