I got my pioneer mic off amazon today but when I hooked it up to the unit (x940), the Auto EQ option isn't letting me use it. Am I supposed to do something to engage it, or could it have to do with my PB bypass not working correctly?

There's a few steps to be able to have it run through the autoEQ... it's in the manal pg.187 but make sure

- AV set off

- Rear display set to mirror AV

I'm having the same problem AV is set to off, and Rear AV mirror, mic is plugged in but nothing happens when I hit Auto EQ.
