I bought my X930BT off Ebay as a refurbished product a few months ago.

I installed it into my 2001 Jetta and it has been working flawlessly since. A couple weeks ago it turned on without the Pioneer splash screen then showed black and white lines going across the screen. After 30 seconds or so it turned off.

The first few times it did this cycling the ignition fixed the problem but now it wont turn on at all!

I have since then disconnected my bypass and grounded the deck to the cars frame...

Has anyone seen this before? Do I have a expencive paper weight?

I had the same issue, I had bought a demo unit from Best Buy and it went out after about three months. Called Pioneer and was told to send it in. They replaced it with a refurbished unit under the original one year manufacturers warranty. Their customer service was actually a lot better than I was expecting. I forgot that I mailed it with the sd card in it and install brackets attached. I called them when it came in and told them and they went and found them and mailed them back to me free of charge and quickly.
