Does the Z1 have a dimmer wire?

Hey Guys,

So I'm wiring the stock harness to the Z1 harness. One of the wires that I don't see on the Z1 harness, which is on my stock harness is the dimmer wire. It says dimmer, not illumination, so as to not get the two confused.

Does this mean you can't dim the lights on the keys like the stock oem lights on your dash?

If this wire does exhist, which one is it, or which one should I be tying into?

I believe that it's the same one. There is technicall no "dimmer" cause the "dimmer" means that you have an asjustment in the brightness. And the Z1 will have a "night mode" when it will dim, and that amound of dimming is set-able in the settings section, but it will not adjust the amount of dimming with the knob in your dash.

But I believe that you can hook the car's dimmer wire to the ILL line on the radio to get the radio to dim when you turn on the lights. It just won't adjust the amound of dim based on the knob in your dash.
