If my iPhone is connected and I am on the iPhone screen and then I press either the menu or map buttons the unit will just freeze and then I will need to press the reset button, it's really getting on my nerves!!!

Has anybody else suffered with this issue? Also does anyone know of a fix?

This is most likely an iOS issue. Plug another device in an see if it works properly.

So this unit is now pretty much useless to me unless Pioneer bring out an update to address the issue, which lets face it isn't going to happen!!!

You are wrong apple will make a fix... Unit isnt useless works great with my iPhone 5.1 and all other 4 iPhones I've had.

If it works with your 5.1 then surely it is not an iOS issue? As yours would have the same problem as mine, or have you not updated to 5.1.1 yet?

not at 5.1.1 have heard nothing good about it... Ive had every iphone and just about every major update on it and I cant recall ever really having an issue. I can even stream using icloud match without problems.
