I just got my AppRadio2 installed and the radio, iPod and bluetooth work great. I had cheap Koolerton rear view video cam off Amazon that we couldn't get to work. Does only the Pioneer Video cam work this unit?

I also can't get any app on my Samsung Droid Charge to work or Pandora. I have the hdmi and power to the Charge. I open the AppRadio App and it connects. On the screen I get the warning about the parking break and procedure with the ok. The ok is greyed out and I do the procedure and the ok still is greyed out and can't be selected. I also get a warning on the phone screen and then the screen goes black with a white dot on it. I read on here how you have to calibrate the screen, but when i touch the white dot on the phone, nothing happens, and the appradio screen still has the parking break warning screen on.

When i click on the Pandora app, the main screen on the appradio just cycles my the bluetooth connections, says it is not connected and try's to reconnect, over, and over, and over again....but the phone was already connected to the appradio via bluetooth...

Anyone installed their appradiio with the droid charge?

I am going to try my daughter iPhone in the morning and see if that one works better with the apps and pandora, I would really like to stay with droid though....grrrrrrrrrrr

You need to press the white dots on the deck itself to calibrate it. Once you do that then the app should fire up.

i am not getting past the parking brake check, the ok button is greyed out. I took it apart today and the green wire was tied directly to the ground wire on the head unit. I guess the installer took a shortcut, but it does not work with this radio. Now I have to go back and have them do it again and hope it works this time. I see the white dots on the droid charge, but nothing but the warning message on the head unit. I tested it with my daughters ipod touch too, no video feed, just the same warning message about the parking break, but I could hear the apps, I could run pandora and slacker and even slacker had the data feed if i listened to it through the ipod setting. After testing both, the unit seems to work a little better with the ipod/iphone connection.

Yup. You either actually need to tie in the to parking brake, or you need a proper bypass. If you cut the wire you can add a toggle switch into it as a bypass. I'm waiting for my TR7 to come in so that I can have an automatic bypass going.

yah, sounds like your bypass isn't done properly. I have a toggle switch that I flip when I have to.
