Is there anyway to put the new 940 software w Android capability to a 930?

i was just thinking about this the other day.. if somebody could get testmode running on a z140 or x940 and dump the sw out, we may be able to figure out how to install it on z130/x930
this is sort of assuming that pioneer hasnt changed the hardware too much, and is just doing their usual thing

The 940 and the 930 look the same can't be that difficult to install 940 software on a 930. I called pioneer and they basically told me I'd have to buy the 940 to have the Android compatibility I'm not doing that when I haven't had my 930 a complete year yet

I believe the new update does this, but would like confirmation.

Yes. The update does... But probably not hat you think. I can't get it to work with Bluetooth app mode on my android... I believe you need a cable.
