i just bought the D1, i have an acura... i was wondering, i have no software or anything to make a special background.. but id really like a nice looking acura logo for the system... is there someone out there that could burn me the DVD ready to go so i can upload the image? obviously id pay whoever that did this some money... name a fair price... thanks

i've followed the steps very closley and i cant get the new dvds to work in my D2 
Make your backgrounds into 500x240 resolution. Now burn those backgrounds (maximum of 20) to a blank CD-R in a folder called "BG".
In the root directory, put at least 100mb of any kind of "dummy" data (any computer files) except for mp3's. burn the disc, pop it into your unit, and change the backgrounds. Its laid out in the users manual as well as pioneerelectronics.com
does this method work for avic d2? according to pioneerelectronics.com it is only for n1 and n2. just wondering because this way sounds easier than the other one here using pimm...
no it doesnt work for the D2. i tried and its only for the N series.
