I fixed firmware for AVIC-F40BT (AVIC-F940BT) with fixed testmode.exe (now can do copy and paste).

If i am right that firmware possible to use like official firmware.

I have tried dumpromx, and it's fine for viewing in IDA, but cant repack w/dumpromx.

Don't be confused by his reference to "Condi's Hack Mode". What he is showing is the (Super)TestMode interface.

As Ron mentioned, the interface is crap - but it's all we really have to work with.

you cannot overwrite a file via paste - you must delete a destination file first, then go copy the source and paste it to the destination folder

I had totally bricked my AVIC - F930BT - used that video as a guide. and used this software to reload my system - After a few goes i got it correct.

Once saved - remove the .txt from the file and then it should load in your torrent downloader. Hope this helps

hello all, I updated my f940bt somehow with the 2013 files. Now I want to do the same with the 2015, but I am completely lost. I do have a the password for the (Flomsen)zip file , but that already seems to give some errors. It does unpack something though.

But then I go to the instructions.. And I see testmode. No clue how to run that. Can someone give a more extensive manual how to do this? Also the files that need to be changed; iuf these are suppose to be in the zipfile, its not there.

with this hack it's impossible to undo the hackmode. the f930bt restart and stuck on pioneer navgate image and do nothing....
