are there any real differences between the pioneer upgrade discs CNDV-50MT ver 1.1 and ver 1.2?

i have Pioneer AVIC-88DVD and want to upgrade from the CNDV-40MT to the CNDV-50MT (mainly because i lost the west disc). will this work, and would there be any possible complications? does it matter which version i use (i.e. ver 1.1 or ver 1.2) since i have an AVIC-88DVD?

also, im assuming that since i have an AVIC-88DVD that i cannot upgrade to the 60 series...correct?

They usually just fix bugs when they change versions, nothing major. The 50 series disk will work fine in your nav, the 60 series will not
