Is there anyway to hack the z130bt and use the navigation there? I called Pioneer and they told me no. I'm a former SSgt in the USAF and I may take this job in Dubai.

The problem you will have is maps and pois. Unless pioneer as a model/map set that they market to UAE, like MEA or Arab pensinsula, then you will have no luck. The maps in this series are proprietary. Some of the older models (like F900/X910) actually use igo8.3 software, and can be "modified" to use any of the maps that are available on the internet for just about any global region.

That sucks monkey balls. I don't see any models that are even close to the z130bt in the UAE.

Well, good news is - if you can find somebody with a working unit with UAE maps, we have a way to extract the maps from it to an sd card, and from there we can make an update.... Up to you to find that somebdoy
