While perusing fleabay saw a z110 on their. Seller states that there is an unknown password on it. Is there a way to remove it other than by sending it to Pioneer and paying them? Perhaps by booting via an SD card and updating the firmware? Don't want to even bother if it's going to be too much of a pain but I might if it's not terribly difficult.

Hint:

-  boot into testmode

-  remove or view: USER\SYSTEM\SECURITY\PASSWORD.DAT 

Note: it might be a stolen headunit. Seems kinda fishy.
