My wife just got a new 2007 Lexus GX470 with a Navigation system. I read somewhere that the navigation hardware was made by Pioneer and the software was by Denso. Does anyone know if this is true and will the latest hack for the Z1 work for the Lexus.

Are you sure its pioneer? I know eclipse(fujitsu-ten) has been making toyota/lexus OEM navi. Since they own a good amount of the company stocks. Also if you have ever noticed their 04-06 model OEM navi looks just like any eclipse aftermarket navi units(5435/5495/5500/6600/etc)

Pioneer makes the one in the new LS. Didn't know it had spread to the other lines already
