I am more in to good audio than Nav so the 1.1 nav is fine with me. Using a kicker amp and good speakers all the way around. Used a rental car for a week that had Sirrius and now I am hooked. Just want to make sure the SIR-PNR2 will work with my non modified n1. last discs I got were the freebies from Pioneer way back when. I think it went from 1.0 to 1.1. Also, what are the display limititations. Head unit says XM only so I just want to make sure this will work before I spend the money.

Probably around 100 times. The interface is terribly limited. It will not show the channel numbers for presets, very little is actually displayed on-screen. 8 characters is it I believe. I have a portable hooked up through an aux so I can't really say anything more.

is the xm interface for the n1 better.

except that's the n3 not the n1 that he's asking about. The xm interface is better on the n1. It however is not as nice as the n3 interface in the link in the above post.
