I cracked my touch screen and was wondering how hard it was to replace on the AVIC-F700BT. I have searched this forum and there is no step by step instructions. The ones on the sticky stop after step 1. Any help would be appreciated.
Hallo, it is very easy. just pull of the cover very carefully and you can put a new touch screen. Otherwise sent me a pm
Not hard. Whole unit is pretty accessible.
I would suggest grabbing a copy of the service manual and studying the instructions and exploded view there. The trickiest part is to get the bluetooth antenna and ribbon cables disconnected, and then later, reconnected. But it's not really hard.
