Has anyone tried the TomTom or Garmin apps for the iPhone for the 930 that maybe can confirm that it works in app mode and how it works .

You need to jailbreak your iphone and install a couple of apps to do that (cant remember what these were). It will then display the iphone screen on the 930 and play voice commands through the speakers but you cannot use the 930's touch screen, everything is still on the phone.

Get the map update, this will turn your 930 into a 940 and you will be able to use the touch screen for the iphone apps. Tomtom is not one of the apps though.
