hi,

im freaking out, ive had my d1 for 1 yr or so and everytime, my distance meter stopped filling up 3/4th of the way up. left and right turn is full. been on simple hybrid. its hooked to my vss properly. it reads what speed im going all the time. but i have no speed pulse (0).

whats the problem?

If speed pulse always reads 0 then your vss is NOT hooked up properly or to the right wire. Also if the vsss was hooked up right it would go into 3d hybrid, not simple hybrid. What is year/make/model of the vehicle.

hey!

its has to be hooked up properly lol! i got the ecu digrams for my car and tapped it in to vss wires. i drive a 2002 wrx.

if its not hooked up properly how is it able to read my speed?

It calculates it from the gps. if your speed pulse reads 0 and never changes, then VSS is NOT hooked up right, regardless of where you got your info from.

Try this.

Speed Sense green/yellow ECM below glove box

Notes: On the non-turbo models the vss is in pin 10 of the 20 pin plug. On the turbo models the vss is in pin 1 of the 22 pin plug.

The vss wire is also found behind the instrument cluster in the 10 pin plug.

merry xmas.
