Hi All- Looking to purchase and install a avic-x940bt. Quick Question -- will I be able to play a DVD on a rear screen while at the same time using the navigation?

yes, dual zone allows this. I have it hooked up this way in my Yukon XL with the Rear Seat entertainment system.
