after the update... when im using directions the Mute doesnt work for music or radio.,,,, i set it to mute All and everything still no luck any help would be nice

If you are referring to the souce (music) volume attenuation for driving instructions and voice commands, try disconnecting and reconnecting your car battery. That fixed it for me.

What update are you referring to for the Z-140 as I don't see any firmware updates?

Also in the AV menu ensure that the mute is set for Guide and Tel and it is set to all or 10/20 if that's what you prefer.

I have kind of same problem, radio doesn't mute. In AV settings I can't select all/10/20 Mute is set for guide and tel. This used to work fine. Any suggestions ?
