So with some of the newer iPods not playing nice what do you have that works with the D3.

I have a 3rd Gen iPod Nano in there now.

I'm looking to get a new iPod. Want to get the most up to date without risking it not working.

Do the 5th - 6th Gen Nano's work? Can someone confirm?

But that was 2008. Just seeing what my options are.

i am not sure about generations, but I bought my son a new one last year and it works with no problem. his was 160gb classic, not sure about the nano's. sorry
