so where did u guys installed your Mic? on the top ..maybe attached to the sun visor? or underneth the steering wheel?? where can i get the best MIC quality?

Typical places are on the top of the drivers side A-piller, or right above the rear view mirror

Because the acoustics are different in every vehicle, what works for one person may not work for you and vice versa. Best bet just try out each location.

Mine is attached on the driver side sun visor, closest to the A pillar. Also, it is angled slightly upwards.

Mine is also on the drivers side sun visor in an 05 F250. The voice recognition has never failed to understand me yet, which is amazing to me. My kids can even control it from the back seat without any problems, and my Son had a lot of problems with his Nintendo DS Light and the VC on that.

The response is a little slower than I would like, but overall, it works great.

i have a custom made mount for the z1 (it doesn't look very good either, but whatever) and its on the mount underneath the z1.
