i unlock my hd and then update and all it dose is try to boot and now i can't unlock is my hd dead

is my hd looped or is there a way to unlock it

Have you tried to unlock the drive using the service test disc?

tred that all it is doing is booting then it stop then it boots stop then boots that all

Does it give any errors before it restarts the boot? How far does it boot? Did you interrupt the power during the upgrade? What version or model software was on your unit before you tried to upgrade?

Have you tried to access "test mode"?

1. Turn on the ignition so the unit has power.

2. Open the screen so that you have access to the “eject†button behind the screen.

3. Use a small pointed object to press and hold the reset button. With your other hand press the “eject†button. Now release the reset button, but continue to hold the “eject buttonâ€.

4. You can release the “Eject†button once the screen displays “PUSH RESET BUTTON OR RESTART ENGINEâ€. This is the password screen.

5. Press and release the following button sequence (password): PLIST UP, PLIST UP, PLIST DOWN, PLIST DOWN, TRAFFIC. Traffic is the small round button on the right side “Tâ€.

6. Now you should be looking at the TESTMODE MENU. If not, start over.
