I have recently noticed that there is noise when i connect my iPod and it is a constant noise and does not increase or decrease when I change the volume  and when I diconnect the ipod, the noise will go away! Does anyone have a similar experience?

(I use KTP445U to amplify the signal a little bit.)

You have a ground loop. Your Alpine may be causing it. Do some research to see if other users of the KTP445U have had similar issues.

Thanks Dannzy, I connect the ground of the radio to the chasis and the noise is gone, i guess it was the problem with the ground wire that I used from the harness.
