Can anyone give me a hint how to hook up my cell phone to an AVIC-N3 so I can hear the voice through the speakers, use the mic from the NAV Voice command as a microphone and have the radio go silent when the phone rings. Is this a pipe dream? It seems like all the part should be there to make this happen.

Its not exactly a pipe dream, but you will need to buy another unit.

You'll need something that has a cell mute wire that you can hook up to your N3. That'll mute the sound when you get a call.

I've heard that the Parrot 3100 LCD works very well. The only thing is that you'll probably have to run another mic, but besides that it'll serve your needs, so long as you have a Bluetooth phone.
